| Flight Cadet | Most applicants join at the rank of Flight Officer, but the Command Wing has the option to allow exceptional applicants in that do not meet the normal requirements. They will join at the rank of Flight Cadet, and must be approved by the CO and three other members of the Command Wing. | |
| Flight Officer | Normal entry rank. | |
| Lieutenant | Exceptional pilots may be admitted at the rank of Lieutenant if they have long prior service to the Alliance or show exceptional skill. | |
| Captain | The rank of Captain can only be achieved through service time in Wolfshead Squadron. | |
| Promotions are decided upon by the Command Wing, with the Commanding Officer having the final say. The Command Wing is composed of five officers, the Commanding Officer (CO), the Executive Officer (XO), the Operations Officer (Ops), the Intelligence Officer (IntO), and the Tactical Officer (TacO). | ||
| NOTE: Members of White Squadron that joined Wolfshead carry their existing rank over intact except for members of White Squadron's Training Wing, which have been promoted to Flight Officer in honor of their service, as there is no Training Wing in Wolfshead Squadron. | ||
