Description:

Probably the most famous of all the Rebel fighters, the X-Wing made it's name in the famous Trench Run. A good all round ship, the X-Wing has good speed and maneuverability, but with reasonable shields and armour make the X-Wing extremely versatile. She can outperform most Imperial fighters, and her six proton torpedoes give her a good edge against capital ships. The X-Wing takes its name from her S-foils which extend into an X shape when engaged in combat. These foils also give the X-Wing a decisive advantage against other fighters in atmospheric combat.
