LADYFOX

LADYFOX / WHITE 8

Ladyfox

Ladyfox was born on the planet Selonia. The oldest daughter of the ruling clan and next in ascendecy. To the humans their people look very much like cats. The humans nickname for them is tabbies. They are known for their honorable ways and skills as pilots. Of the worlds that they inhabit, Ladyfox lives on Selonia.

Ladyfox likes to travel to one of the great forests on Selonia to keep her hunting and fighting skills sharp. While on her travels, although her people don't travel too much to other alian worlds, her family did not want her to leave. However, she was young and naive about 16 in human years when she left to go explore. Her family tried to stop her, but she was able to slip away.

Since her early years, Ladyfox has always been a feisty cub, getting into things she shouldn't. Her father sent his most trusted warriors aboard the Karakath after her to bring her back home. But after talking to her father she convinced him to let her continue to explore for a short time.

Regardless of his acceptance, she was still escorted by the warriors he sent to originally bring her back. He had said that she was very important to him and that he wanted to take all precautions to assure that his daughter would be safe. Then he wished her well.

Ladyfox learned about the force on her travels. She had always had a feeling, a sense, that always gave her an edge in combat even against larger and slightly advanced opponents. On her travels she wanted to learn as much as she could so that she could sharpen her skills with the force. There were a few people that she had heard about, who had not been hunted down by the Empire and eliminated. After some interviews with certain contacts, she was able to track them down. They were an unusual group, benevolent yet resolute. Ladyfox studied and trained diligently and learned very much. Violence and hatred is of itself not the answer but with the Empire it was necessary. This is when she knew that the Selonians should join the Rebellion against the Empire.

However, her people are still uncertain. They think it is a human problem, but Ladyfox, who has travelled to many worlds, knows better. She has tried to convince her people that the Empire believes that all non-human races should be eliminated or enslaved. Their worlds are so far out from the core worlds that they really don't know very much about the struggle between the Empire and the Rebellion.

While enroute to Corellia, her ship the Karakath came under attack by the forces of the Empire. They surrounded them and she thought that her end was imminent and cursed that day. Not because she feared death but more for the fact that she would die onboard the Karakath and not as a warrior in battle, as befits one of the first fang. The Imperial forces disabled their craft. Hearing the Imperial communication a sly smile crossed her face. The Imperial's had said that they were collaborating with the Rebels and were under arrest and were to prepare to be boarded. Ladyfox and her guards would take as many with them as they could. They all knew that the Empire wanted them for leverage against her father and her people. So she held aloft her weapon and waited for the evil ones to come.

Then a strange looking Y-Wing came out of hyper-space and to her astonishment systematically destroyed all the Imperial fighter craft and 3 Corvettes. Ladyfox set it in her mind that she wanted to meet that warrior when all was over and done. She opened communication to thank the warrior pilot. He had told her that he was just a man fighting the Empire. Then he offered to escort their ship on the remainder of their journey. When she insisted he meet her on Corellia so she could personally thank him for saving them, he said he had to go. This is when she thought that there was more to this pilot then meets the eye. It was not until shortly after she joined White Squadron that she recognized the strange Y-Wing on board the Joan d'Arc. That is when she learned the pilot was known as Hammer.

From that day on Ladyfox knew that the Empire had to be stopped. Her people are still not ready to join the Rebellion just yet. But they soon will be. Because she did join and she knows that if she dies at the hands of the Empire her klan and people would avenge her death.
