Okay...I was born...shot at...rescued...and made a member of the Alliance... <VBG>

ed. note: Everyone's a comedian. However, she quickly saw reason when threatened with a crowbar and a month of 3AM recon flights. Her pilot bio follows.

Twenty seven years into the third millennium of Imperial Rule, General Althoth was proud to announce the birth of his only daughter, Diana. Named after the Roman goddess of whose time period General Althoth admired, she became the apple of his eye. With four older brothers, all of whom joined the Imperial forces she soon learned to hold her own in family battles. A master of martial arts, she developed a fondness for computers as they allowed her to solve problems without the requisite physical confrontations normal in the Empire. At twenty she continued the family legacy by joining the Imperial forces. While a competent pilot, she exhibited a superb knowledge of computers and an ability to judge peoples motives and actions. This brought her to the attention of the Imperial intelligence corps. While her father was proud of his daughter's achievements, he often cautioned her about the ruthlessness of his peers.

Diana was neither totally loyal to the Empire nor against it, she preferred to watch and learn, a trait which was not lost on her father's enemies. While assisting in the establishment of a covert base on asteroid 407, Tango 17 of the Isbith system, she became the object of an assassination attempt which failed. Badly injured she was brought on board the Frigate Joan d'Arc. Believing that her family had also been killed she aided the Rebel Alliance in disarming a mine she had helped construct. With no way home, she was at a cross roads in her life, where she now had to decide which path her life would follow. With Imperial lines cut-off, Diana found herself a convert to the Alliance, sworn on revenge against those who had tried to murder her.
